Day-use entry to John Prince Park is free, including parking. The campground charges nightly camping fees — call the campground office at 561-582-7992 for current rates and availability, or the main park line at 561-966-6600 for general park questions.
Rules & Good to Know
- Pets must be leashed (6 ft max) throughout the day-use areas of the park; off-leash play is available at Lake Woof.
- Campground stays are limited to 155 days in any 12-month period; lakefront sites are capped at 14 days per 28-day period; tent camping is capped at 3 days per 60-day period.
- Campground reservations are taken by phone up to 90 days in advance — same-day reservations are not accepted, and payment is due at the time of booking (Visa, Mastercard, Amex, or Discover).
- Maximum 3 pets per campsite.
- General park hours are 7:00 AM – 7:30 PM; the campground office keeps longer hours, 7:00 AM – 9:30 PM daily.
- Follow all posted signage for specific pavilion, field, and beach-area rules.
Getting There
- From I-95: Take the Lake Worth Road exit and head west; the park entrance is off 6th Avenue South.
- From Florida's Turnpike: Take the Lake Worth Road exit and head east toward Congress Avenue, then south on 6th Avenue South.
